Lazing in the sun

No one's told Whisky not to sunbathe under a patterned shadow. Not that he'd care.

A lovely lazy Sunday in the flat for me. Fred was more energetic, cycling to the highest point in Sussex, where Tennyson used to compose poems. It sounds like a good run, so I'll jump on the bike next time.

In the evening, we headed out to the cinema (again!) to see What Maisie Knew, which is really fabulous and pulls at all the heartstrings. Julianne Moore is amazing as the rock singer mother and the wee girl who plays Maisie is an absolute star. Steve Coogan is completely believable as the selfish art dealer father. Wondrous.
