Buzzard Fly By

Out walking locally this afternoon and managed to photographed this Common Buzzard. I saw at least 9 Buzzards today, partly because the young have now fledged, which made me think that they are indeed more "common" now than they were 30 years ago. If I wanted to see a Buzzard back then, I would (and did) have to travel to Scotland, Wales or the South West (Devon and Cornwall). A great success story for the Buzzard. Hooray!
For those who are interested, the "less common" Buzzards are the Honey Buzzard and the Rough Legged Buzzard.
