One from yesterday

I took this in the coffee shop yesterday - cute felt thing.  I was looking to see how she had joined all the pieces together and might try the same thing with my felt bits?

F was coming for coffee at 11.00 and I had intended to go and get pastel de nada but the time ran away.  Big delivery from Travis Perkins for the shed refurb (why is it raining just when we need to take the shed roof off?!).  Next door was difficult and unpleasant about vehicle reversing in their lay by - old people with nothing better to worry about!!!  We call him Ned Flanders.

Lovely chat with F and she was very touched that I gave her Aimee's basket.  I recalled talking about baskets and this was one we bought Aimee when we went to France.  Beautiful woven basket with leather handles - typical market basket.  Aimee loved it and would be happy for Fiona to have it.

OH went to the driving range in the afternoon and I battled with my sewing machine looking at all sorts of You Tube tutorials to sort out the tension but I think a service might be needed.  I am doing all the things on the tutorials but it is still skipping stiches - driving me mad!!!
