Head in the clouds

I went to bowling then after a bit of shopping in town I made my second visit to the wonderful exhibition at the Willow Gallery.  It's called Stitch by Stitch and features 88 textile artists, national and international displaying their work.

This is my favourite from the exhibition, it's called Head in the clouds by Perspicere, made with sewing thread and nails on canvas. I looked him up and he's a London based street artist who also creates installation pieces with thread and string.  I found a short speeded up video of him making one of his installations.  

Head in the clouds was priced at £1,200 and had been sold.

I have put extras - Out of nowhere by Esther Montero and Shepherdess by Aran Illingworth.  The eyes of the latter one were just incredible.
