Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Archie and I went for our walk, and our neighbour, who has a fabulous camper van, was tidying it out, after a wonderful sunny week on the West Coast (of Scotland), and preparing for another jaunt off to Europe. Not jealous. It's a terrific modern set up, with bells and whistles. Unlike the old one we had in the 80s, with practically NO home comforts. But we travelled in it for several months.

JR then took Archie for a big walk, which included an ice cream. I snoozed. We then walked down to visit Dougal and his mum, bearing flowers. Dougal was surprisingly subdued.

I've spent a LOT of time trying to mirror my phone screen on the tv. It used to be straighforward - one 'mirroring' app, bingo. But now it won't work. I've spent a lot of time, including chatting to a Samsung bot for a while, then a real person, but no joy. I think I'll pop down to the Apple shop and ask for help. I'd like to get a selection of our three wonderful summer holiday photos to bore visitors with...

Watching the Edinburgh Military Tattoo - not to be missed!
