Got the grass cut, washing and ironing done quite early on this morning. JR was off to the gym, back in her routine. The hedge tomorrow? Maybe.

Walked up to the surgery to book a blood test, which was requested after the last one, which they didn't like...

I noticed the apples in the garden, all ready to drop. We've mentioned them to Amanda, who is keen to take them and use them. We didnt feel up to dealing with a huge pile of apples. Besides, the big pot to cook 'em in was disposed of in a recent clear out. Amanda and John popped in to pick them up.

JR went to the supermarket to get stocked up, and then she took Archie out for a walk. But in between times there was rain. I think the gardens need it. She used my big gorgeous Brisbane umbrella, and so today's photo was easy.

We've started watching Dept Q on Netflix. It's a bit weird in this first episode... but we've heard so many positive reports, so we'll keep with it.
