New Mural

This mural has appeared on a wall on St Clair West in Toronto over the course of the last month, so I thought it deserved a place on my blip today. It's tricky to get a good photo of it as the gap between that building and the next is rather narrow, so I had to stand in the middle of the tramway (with great care!) and take a quick snap, then tweak the perspective in Photoshop (hence the stretched cars at the base!).

I've researched it a little, and the artist is Yasaman Mersa who painted it (along with her crew) using a scissor lift. It's part of the "Yellow Oasis" project that explores the natural phenomenon of Garrison Creek which flows underground through the area.
