Erm...

Up at 5,car packed, boys into the car just after 6.30 and we're ready to go.  The car wouldn't start! 

There was a massive storm last night- the thunder shook the chalet and lightening lit the while place up, it also got very cold. The lovely man from Villars who came out to start the car said it had got too cold, but also the car battery no longer has a deep charge. We've driven for 8 hours today, so hopefully will start tomorrow!!

The day got worse, having set off 2 hours later than expected when the youngest was (very) sick in the back of the car, we were the motorway and couldn't stop for ages. Eventually found a services and spent another hour cleaning that up, changing clothes etc... 

Eventually made it to our hotel, its pretty low-grade, but very comfy bed. Website said it had a restaurant, however that doesn't open in the evening. We to the dodgy looking restaurant next door - best burger I have ever had, amazing, the place was packed as well. 

All in all, very glad to be in bed, fingers crossed the car starts!!
