Thousands of gods

And verily, thousands of them are attending
the annual conference of the gods.
It's always a major event
with many guest speakers
and a disco planned for the last night.

This year's thunderbolt display
is highly anticipated.

The keynote speaker
is a controversial character.
Self-billed as 'The One True God'
she incurs much wrath and scepticism
but also has many followers.

(Her tweets
often CAPITALISED
are scrutinised worldwide).

A widening schism
is inevitable.

The gods of sky, sun and moon
are fuming in one corner.
In another the gods of sea,
fertility and warfare are
wondering whether to support her
or leave in a huff.

As 'The One True God'
addresses the much debated issue
'Whose imagination created us -
was it Terry Pratchett?'
there is uproar at the back of the hall when...
