Day 10 - Cabin Fever

So today is day 10 - double figures!

Also started to get cabin fever today - so Sophie and I decided to take a trip into London to see the Clipper Round-the-World boat fleet - currently moored up at St Katherine's docks!

Its long been a life ambition for me to a) sail 1 leg of this race and/or and b) complete the full 40,000 mile 11 month race around the world!

So today it was quite a treat to be able to go aboard the Henri Lloyd 70ft yacht for a look around below decks and talk to some of the crew! There was space below for 12 or so bunks and a tiny galley kitchen, but we were told there would be 22 people on board come race day! It was definitely a racing vessel, rather than a pleasure craft!!

So thank you to the crew of Henri Lloyd for their hospitality and good luck!!!

Today's damage report:

Swelling: gone
Numbness: Fading
Liquified Haematoma: Stopped
Beard: Unruly
Energy Level: Rubbish - had to have a nap when we got back!
