Flower Friday ...
... Sunflower (stalks).
As I was sitting outside this morning I noticed a couple of Black-capped Chickadees coming to the spent sunflowers to get the seeds. They were choosing sunflowers that I couldn't easily get any photos. But then as I was coming in to have lunch this little one landed on a stalk within easy reach of my camera. Blip done. Please have a look full screen.
This afternoon we went to another fair ... and hopefully the last of the year as this makes the fourth one! Today it was the Great Allentown Fair that we attended. It had been several years since we have come to the fair as it's quite large. But we had a great time seeing everything. I've added into Extras a collage for some of the sights. The young lady and her sheep granted my permission for a photo ... I failed to get her name. And the little pig was part of the Robinson's Pig Paddling Porkers show! It was fun to watch but over before you knew it. (The map link is for the Fairgrounds ... not where I took the main photo.)
Thanks to Anni for hosting Flower Friday each week. There is a lovely flower in the Extra collage ... plus this sunflower stem.
