Suspended

Went to Branklyn Gardens this morning for a wander and cheese scone. You were going to get a pic of a flower or a tree but I couldn't resiste this seed/fruit seemingly just being in midair. At first sight I thought it was a spider but when looked at closer it was this on a thread.

When I got in the kettle wouldn't work, all looked okay but nothing happened. Fortunately I have an old one I keep for just such occasions (it doesn't switch off automatically) so that was used until I went to buy a new one this afternoon. The most expensive one in the shop cost less than one wouldl have 15 years ago!
Off out to the "Meenister's" for tea.
