(242) Early Bird

Up sharp and out of the door before breakfast today to get a couple of hours up the hills in sunshine. This was my first time up towards West Lomond in a couple of years and the track was a bit rougher than I remembered. However, the Levo easily soaks up the rough stuff so it was a lot of fun. As forecast, the skies soon clouded over and by the afternoon the rain had set in so I was glad I'd made the effort to get out earlier. 
Our electric oven has been increasingly temperamental for months now and a replacement is long overdue. Yesterday the grill element parted company from its support so today we picked up a new oven from Curry's in Kirkcaldy. As a standard sized unit, it's a simple like for like replacement with only two screws to remove and replace. Pizza for dinner was a revelation, at less than 20 minutes from turning the oven on to serving up a perfectly cooked pizza. Much better than the 40 minute ordeal we had become accustomed to. Extra today is a shiny new oven with a perfect pizza!
