I got my snail light working again today! :)

Lauren joined us for our swim this morning which was lovely. (The swim and her company and that of the others).

Met Tracey in the afternoon for coffee. We were meant to be going to York Gate Garden but there was an accident on the road ahead of me that was across the whole road and stopped all traffic. It didn’t look like anyone was hurt. Just damaged cars.
So I turned around and we met in Ilkley instead and went to ‘Toast’. Very nice! Very yummy lemon drizzle yogurt cake!

Stopped in on mom on the way home. She was very awake and bright and wanting to get up. So Charity, very patiently and beautifully helped my mom get dressed and up into her wheelchair without any rushing.

We went into the dining room as it was dinner time by then. Mom was not too impressed with the thought of that but happily sipped her tea while I sipped mine. She took forever to cut her sandwich and took one small bite from it. After some time I explained that I had to leave because I was going out to meet some friends so mom was happy enough with that and I left her to continue her meal and perhaps enjoy a jigsaw in the lounge as we had thought we might do.

Quick dinner at home then I met up with Hannah, Mary, Claire and Sarah in the Olivino Lounge for drinks. At 10 it all went quiet. The place seemed to be empty! Sarah and Claire headed off home but Hannah was up for another drink. So Mary, Hannah and myself went to Nightshade’ and enjoyed a rum punch there and another good chat.
Got home at 11:30
