Line dancing
Most of my day in the valley was spent at 3 different nurseries. The back of the truck was filled and I even put a few things behind the passenger seat. I have 2 planting jobs this week, one next week and another one the week after.
I had not stopped anywhere for photos, so I decided to stop at the Wolfville waterfront. It is a busy weekend in Wolfville as it is a university town, and all the students are returning this weekend. I stopped by the Wolfville sign to take a few photos and heard some music. I looked around and there was line dancing at the gazebo, so I walked down to watch, and take a couple of photos. A couple of girls were not sure what they were doing and they were watching one of the more experienced dancers.
The couple of the boardwalk were not part of the demonstration, they just decided to dance. At the end the organizers were giving out ribbons to the participants. One organizer came down to give the couple a ribbon. I was standing there near them, and he handed me a ribbon too, because I was taking photos. I ended up talking to the couple, they are from Saskatchewan. He made a comment about the area being a good feeding ground for birds. I suggested they go to Evangeline Beach or the Guzzle while they are here to see the migrating birds. I didn't try to see the birds today, I knew the tide time was too late for me.
A light rain shower on the way home this afternoon, and the temperature dropped. It had been 22 C in the valley, but it dropped to 15 C between St Croix and Mount Uniacke.
A plant sale, brunch and a walk at Acadia Park are the plans for tomorrow.
