Whitechapel London Aug 30th 1888

It's 1888 in Whitechapel, London was a city full with an influx of desperate Jews leaving their eastern European villages from the vile brutality of the pogroms inflicted on them. Many languages were spoken in the Whitchapel & Spittalfields of Londons east end with squalid & unsanitary streets but it was full of hard working people with many factories, warehouses, Markets, Abbattoirs  Breweries & the ever present  London docks with Tower Bridge under construction over the River Thames.
Doss houses were plentiful charging 4d a night for those in employment or for women of the night to get a sleep after making enough for bed and board overnight.
London was about to find out the next day of a Murder that would still be talked about 137 years later.
