Celebrations
Cal was two yesterday. He celebrated by going to The Riverside Transport Museum in Glasgow with both sets of grandparents. The photos of him driving a sports car are fabulous. His parents shy away from a social media presence of him, so none here either. Fair enough.
Today, after a trip to the flat where there is movement and decisions all involving risk, we headed down to Porty for the Perty.
Uncle Liam appeared from Brighton, just for the day, so sweet. Cal moved from person to person uninterested in gifts, only interested in the car carrier which stores cars and folds out into a track. With his own boy, Miles, Uncle Liam knows the best toys. Meg had painstakingly made a beautiful bear cake, Cal is never far from his Bear. On seeing it, Cal excitedly shouted 'cat!' And would not be persuaded otherwise, so cat it was. He enjoyed several small slices and a chocolate biscuits ear. As a boy who doesn't get sugar, the repercussions will be interesting.
So many lovely moments, so much fun, so many great photos and other exciting news titbit.
Later I showed Liam a few exercises for his sciatic nerve pain. On the matter of yoga, you'll be as furious as me to know the yoga pants I bought in my last blip, which came brand new in a sealed bag, still had a security tag on them!!! Grrrrr.
