It was a view from the window of his house taken across the courtyard showing a loft, a pear tree and the roof of a barn. Niėpce derived enormous personal satisfaction from this result [...] It was hard to believe that within 10 years these rudimentary images would be transformed into pictures of incredible detail and fidelity.”

Roedd fy nghoesau wedi blino ar ôl tri dydd yn yr ardd, ond roedden nhw'n teimlo’n well ar ôl cerdded i'r pentref. Ar ôl siopa aethon ni i siop goffi am ddiod a chacen, cyn cerdded adre. Roeddwn i'n tynnu'r troli, felly roeddwn i'n araf…

It rained all day. It was too wet to work in the garden, so we went shopping. We took the big trolley to carry the heavy shopping. My legs were tired after three days in the garden, but they felt better after walking to the village. After shopping we went to a coffee shop for a drink and cake, before walking home. I was pulling the trolley, so I was slow…
Back to the garden tomorrow? It depends on the weather.
