Pretty

Pretty windy day here but we went along to look at the front in Pittenweem where we were out of the wind mostly. It is such a pretty little row of houses and made better by no car access. The rightmost house is called The House on the Rock and whilst it was lovely there today it must be a little scary in the winter when the sea regularly sploshes over the wall and the houses.. 
Daughter and partner left this morning quite early and my Mr S is not feeling great.. thick with a cold and throat.. and currently sleeping after our gentle outing. We were due to have 10 for lunch today but they all cried off (I'm secretly delighted as it turns out) so luckily I was able to cancel the food order in time (was going to be delivered in a oner) so just bought a few difficult to get things to see us through next week and thankful not to have masses of excess food in the house!
