SWORDPLAY

I walked through Burn Valley Gardens this afternoon and heard the distant clash of swords so went up to the neighbouring sports field and saw this scene. Since the last time I saw them I've found out they're Vanguard Reenactment and Sunday afternoon is their practice time. Back into the Gardens the other sounds I heard were bees in the flower meadow, several hornet mimic hoverflies in the snowberry bushes and a flock of fancy pigeons cooing in one of the trees near the entrance, I assume from a coop in the allotments on the other side of the fence beneath the tree (all in extras).
