Puddock...

.....one of the gang of biggies who inhibit our wildlife pond at the top end of the garden. The wee guys (probably their off-spring) seem to hang-out down in the lower part of the garden. I see them scurrying into the undergrowth when I'm firing-up the lawnmower. 

We had rain today, not a common thing at the moment. I'm sure the puddocks would welcome more.
