Two thirds of the year are gone. Wow! It's sometimes hard to credit.
Today, I had a pretty peaceful day at home. A lazy morning, although I got the ironing board out for the first time in years. Then we watched the Ireland v Spain rugby match which was pretty competitive but in the end a reasonably comfortable win for Ireland. We didn't watch a surprising victory for South Africa over Italy. The first turn up for the books in this tournament, I think.
By then, I'd been out for a walk but singularly failed to get a blip (the only photograph I took was something I've blipped before....; hence my evening blip from the balcony). Mr A and I had also both done stuff in the kitchen. I made an aubergine and white bean bake. He made a focaccia, which was reasonably successful. We enjoyed the two together for our dinner.
Since we ate dinner, I've finished off Mishal Husain's memoir Broken Threads. I learned a lot about partition.
