Plums

It's become a habit at our church that anyone who grows excess produce bags it up and puts it on the steps of the font. It's easy to see there and we help ourselves. Last week I got some runner beans.

I would have been happy with less but the lady had brought three huge bags, these weighed 3.5lbs. 

The plums sat in the kitchen all afternoon, all the while telling me they deserved to be my blip. They knew they were in competition with a bag of apples given to me by a neighbour. They won! The apples will wait their turn.
