Sunday ...

... Birthday Funday.  

We had a fun filled and busy day celebrating Richard's birthday!  But I'm not about to spill the beans on his age!

After lunch this afternoon we went up to Minsi Lake for some kayaking.  It has been several weeks since we have been and it was fun.  We saw some great things ... including this Great Blue Heron taking off from the water where he/she was fishing.  We also saw osprey, a spotted sandpiper, belted kingfishers and several different species of geese.  

We made it home just in time to change our clothes before heading out again for supper ... which was followed by a lovely walk at Graver Arboretum.  And after I post this I need to get busy baking Richard's birthday cake!
