But with achy everything today I feel very old. Gardening again but the end is in sight and we are off away for a few days tomorrow so nice to know it's all done for when we get back. This little plant is over 12 years old, It looks like it may flower for the first time after a struggle where other plants would have just given up. We originally planted it at our old house and brought it with us, I can remember the removal man stood in out new back garden having shifted all the plant pots from the old house and surveying the scene asking quite sincerely "and why did you need to bring all these with you isn't there enough here already?" He didn't appreciate that most of my plants are bought with a memory and I couldn't leave them behind (some we just split so I technically shared with the new owners). This one hadn't even got out of it's original pot, so started root bound then we planted in what turned out to be the wrong soil, then in a main puppy thorough fare, so got trodden on and then severely damaged by frost ! but it is after all this time looking promising, here's hoping.
