Abstract

A trip to Beetham nursery to meet JE for coffee.  When we arrived, there was a power outage and the cafe was closed.  Curses.

We went to Levens Hall instead and had very nice scones and tea there instead.  She told me their plans to take her eldest daughter to University for the first time, next week.  As daughter will be away from home and can't have pets at Uni, J has suggested they rehome the snake S has as a pet.  Crikey.  Apparently there is a waiting list to rehome snakes in Ulverston.  I hope none escape while they are waiting.
