Monday: Reading

Heavy showers of rain and very windy but started off fairly quiet.

MrD had contacted a local company to come over to clean our settee and chairs - they took just over and hour and the furniture looks very fresh and clean :-)) MrD also replaced a couple of broken springs. I think the furniture is about 35 years old and has been “punished” by our 3 children and so many of their friends! Looking good now!

I had an appointment with the nurse to have a blood test and need to make an appointment with the doctor for results.

An afternoon of reading, another of the Kate Mosse series which I’ve enjoyed so much.

This evening we watched a couple of episodes of “Fools and Horses”, then watched the last couple of episodes of “Hostage” which we’ve both enjoyed.

Some very heavy rain showers this afternoon and evening.
