Mono Monday: Week 606 ...

... High Key. 

My calendar told me this morning (I actually knew it before then) that today is Ginger Cat Appreciation Day!  So what better blip than our very own resident ginger cat ... Cheddar.  He is much better in color but still works in mono as well.  I've taken some poetic license and kept his gorgeous yellow eyes in full color.

In other news:  We had some nice Ruby-throated hummingbird activity in the back garden this morning ... which kept my shutter finger very busy.  I've added one shot of a lovely female turning to go (you can see her belly and tiny feet) into Extras.  And I've also posted another shot to my Facebook feed.  

And we released Monarch butterfly #15 (a male) shortly before lunch ... but not before tagging him like the female on Saturday.
