Ozette Triangle

My eldest son, turning 56, and his daughter, who is earning her Masters in biological science, and I, had a marvelous 3 day hike. We watched a black bear searching for edibles amongst tide pools and sea weed. We ourselves enjoyed the tide pools filled with sea life; crabs, anemone, sea weed, and little fish darting about.  We watched sea otters at home in the cold Pacific, and saw a variety of birdlife including Kingfishers, Oystercatchers, Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, Sanderlings, and the small birds of the forest. We basked in the unique quiet that one experiences in wild places, and were grateful for the privilege.
Extra granddaughter with binoculars, and another of the three of us.
