A mixed bag today...

Had a serious chat with Auntie today—she’s going to make herself ill worrying about everyone but herself, and with her daughter moving to India she’s very anxious, so she’ll need more support this winter. We had freezer soup for lunch, which suited the chilly autumn vibe, and with two campervan trips still in the diary I think the electric blanket will be coming along if the promised Indian summer doesn’t arrive. On a brighter note, I spent some time on recipe research—posole rojo and papas a la diabla are next on the list—and yet another stack of walking magazines turned up, as my cousin still hasn’t cancelled that subscription.
