What I did today:

I only meant to pop upstairs to find one photo album for a school picture… and of course, I didn’t find the one I was looking for. Instead, I ended up sitting on the floor for almost an hour, going through all the old school photos. By the time I got up my legs were completely dead but my heart was full.
Seeing those first-day-of-school smiles again was so special. It reminded me of how grown up they all are now, and how quickly the years have gone. 
I used this photo of my 2 eldests on Bex first day of school as a little safety reminder on Facebook for parents sharing their children’s first-day pictures — to cover badges and avoid doors or landmarks.

Beccy had just turned 34! We still have that bench and the back of it is probably her hip height now - she was sooo tiny!
