Had a pretty normal Monday. Went to sewing group in the morning and carried on with the cushion cover. Hope to get it finished before next Monday- am very fed up with it now! We had a visitor today- Jenny from Sussex who came to talk about doing a Master Quilter qualification and to show us the work she had done. Don't think she’d really planned what to say and she over-ran; fortunately I was at the back so just carried on sewing! Her work was stunning however .These were my two favourite quilts - far too time consuming for me though. The blue one took 52 days and an average of 7 hours a day!
Called in to a couple of shops on the way home, had lunch and did a couple of small jobs. Had intended to do a few hours in the garden but it poured with rain as I was driving home and everywhere was soaking wet when it stopped so I carried on with the cushion cover instead. The cats were very curious though so I made slow progress!
