Everything Everywhere
Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,
We had a very touristy day. We went to visit the Memorial to Europe's Sinti and Roma Murdered Under Nazism, Reichstag dome, Brandenburg gate and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. A mix of fascinating, beautiful, powerful and heartbreaking.
We went for dinner in Kink tonight. It was a recommendation (from our waitress in Katsi Orange). We sat outside in a very pretty courtyard lit by lanterns. Once again the food was excellent. We have totally lucked out with the food here.
During dinner, The Eldest Mini Princess said that she’d heard someone use the word ‘isthmus’ which she’d previously only heard in a medical context meaning a narrow passage, giving the isthmus of the fallopian tube as an example.
“What did Santa say to the fallopian tube?” asked The Youngest Mini Princess without taking a beat.
“Erm don’t know,” we answered, somewhat bemused.
“Merry Isthmus!”
We all p1ssed ourselves. So random!
After dinner, The Prince and I continued The Prince’s global tour of Irish pubs. We sourced one below a railway track and next to a tram line so sitting outside was very noisy but The Prince was like a pig in poo with his Guinness!
