Making Memories

I started writing in this in January 2024. Its the longest I've been able to consistently write a few lines in. Over the last nine years, I've tried to keep one, but beyond the first attempt (which lasted a year and seven months), I'd stop writing in it after a few months (usually around March or April). This time round, however, I've been able to scribble a few lines down, with the help of a habit tracker on my phone. If I miss a day or two, for whatever reason, I'll make sure I go back and update it, often with the help of my blipfoto entries. Its another lovely way of helping me reflect on my day and how far I've come.

Today has been pretty long. Little Man struggled falling asleep last night (took about two hours), which involved me sitting in his room with him until he was about to fall sleep. It meant we were both tired when we got up and left for school. The teacher said he was pretty tired when I collected him at midday. So I've let him have a quiet afternoon but he was still quite clingy. Its why we had an early dinner and early to bed. He's in bed, his own bed, and I'm sitting on the end of it, with my phone screen"s light so dim that there's more light coming in through the window.
