Any carrots?
Just the usual - doggie walk round the Links in the morning - we met a couple of doggie friends. Archie had another doggie walk in the afternoon, via the local deli to find some nice nibbles for this afternoon's visitor.
Alice came round - her mother, Mary, is now in a retirement home nearby. Just as well she was here (visiting from Australia) when Mary made the decision. We had a good chat with her, hearing about family dramas and exciting jobs. We will have to make sure we get down to visit Mary while Alice is still here this week. But Mary hasn't been well, some sort of bug and kept her in bed since she's been there.
We're both quite tired, this is nothing new for me - I snooze most evenings, and indeed, most afternoons. But JR doesn't usually snooze, and she has been since we came back from holidays. I think three holidays in a row has taken its toll.
Archie provides an emergency blip as he hangs around, hoping for a bit of leftover crudités, preferably carrot...
I haven’t told him that his friends John and Amanda have cancelled tomorrow’s walk, due to the expected inclement weather all day.
