Homeward Bound

The middle of the day train heads away from Aber station towards Tywyn, Lovetrees and Lottie both looking back smiling as I ran onto the platform to snap my Blip!   Lovetrees riding in the saloon coach next to the loco and Lottie the Fireman on the loco.   Lottie is Ruth's age and they used to volunteer together.

A much less busy day than of late but coloured brighter by two 21st Birthday Driver Experience trains for N, a very committed volunteer and also a very talented photographer, contributing pictures used in the railway's calendar.  We also hosted a party of young people with learning difficulties who had sausage rolls and cream teas at a specially lengthened table set up.   Lots of happy faces :-)

After work Ruth and I had one more outing foraging for her natural weaving, returning for a quick pizza tea and home-made apple crumble.   A yummy end to the day.
