Rain

I had planned to meet up with an ex work colleague but the weather forecast was awful.  She text me to ask whether we should still go ahead and I reasoned, I had a waterproof coat and brolly so why not?  The rain was on and off and we had a wander and saw the dahlias, stopped for a coffee and cake and had a catch up.  She is walking much better following awful accident earlier this year and now has a return to work date (although still no new contract!).  I snapped this picture to check the date for a rose pruning workshop.

Home mid afternoon and OH back from wet golf - he went to see MIL and I did some sewing (lavender bags with lavender I dried back in the summer).

James was messaging OH regarding meeting up on Friday for Aimee's birthday.  He found a nice restaurant in Bermondsey - hopefully better weather as bit of a walk from London Bridge?
