Rain

I did BP first thing then drove over to collect my sewing machine.  A service and replacement part and no change from £125 - me thinking I only paid £250 for the machine?!  

Home to help OH in the shed - he was carrying on from Tuesday but it was raining and this was limiting work to inside only.  I helped paint the windows and kept telling him 'Its a shed'!!  He is such a good worker and always to a high standard but really?!

We finished up and I went in to run OH a bath (he slipped on wet decking and hurt his back).  I tried out my machine but for some reason it still doesn't like sewing on fine/thin fabric.  FFS.  I persevered and it seemed ok ish but the sample they did was on much thicker fabric..... maybe another phone call tomorrow?

I watched a film about Jeff Bezos while he bathed and I sewed - interesting stuff - amazing story starting with a good idea and now he is worth £600 billion - maybe be could afford a resident sewing machine engineer?!

Boring dinner with freezer left over Pork which didn't freeze as well as I had hoped.
