(Another) Rainy walk

The rain was biblical for an hour around 8.00am and I was expecting a phone call to cancel..... However we set off at 9.45 as planned and only got slightly wet (and I promised myself to buy a proper waterproof coat - but then said that last time I got wet on a walk!!).  T&P organised the walk around the Chevening Estate and it was a nice walk with good views.  We stopped for coffee on the way round which was not really needed then lunch at 1.30.  We have eaten there before but I was not particularly impressed - my choice was horrible (lamb kofta - whatever was I thinking) and the (english) wine was good (from Harrietsham) but expensive but hey ho - some you win?  

S gave me some flowers in advance of tomorrow - very sweet of her.

Nothing for dinner and watched an episode of new drama about Double Jeopardy - can't remember what its called!!

Day done - apprehensive about tomorrow.
