On the mat
Today saw the last of my Wednesday morning sessions in Blair Atholl. They were taught by MS who attends my regular Wednesday class and has recently qualified. She put them on while our Pitlochry teacher was on holiday. I have really enjoyed them - I think it is good to try different classes from time to time.
My extra is a follow on from yesterday's blip - this time a rowan tree with red leaves.
We watched the Thursday Murder Club last night. It wasn't as bad as I feared from some reviews - nothing profound but acceptable light viewing which doesn't tax the brain too much. This was welcome after my class in which we worked hard - taking it in turn to read a prepared mini-speech ( 1 to 2 minutes) and then giving a unrehearsed monologue in response to a prompt for about 2 minutes. The later was to help prepare us for our oral assessment in which we have to speak for 4 to 5 minutes. It was really good practice both in terms of actually doing it as well a getting really useful feedback from the teacher. It is also helpful to listen the other student's talks. I am really pleased I have the same teacher as last year.
