A phone chat this morning with a friend who moved away last year. It’s hard to get together in person and we don’t talk enough on the phone, but we managed a good catch up today. Then pottery this afternoon as usual, turning some larger bowls which I’m quite pleased with, and glazing some others that have been through a bisque firing. This is the notebook where I keep a note of which glazes I’ve used as I find it impossible to remember when they eventually come out of the kiln. I also write down what I’ve thrown that week, or if I put stuff in for bisque firing so that I know where I am a week later. I also try and take lots of photos of everything - it’s proved really useful in making sure I don’t lose things because I forget about them!
