The weather app predicted rain all day. I texted John to suggest not taking Archie out for a walk. I still have visions of them at the gate, having got well and truly soaked one day. No need.

And so I took him out, and we headed east - I haven’t been to Summerhall cafe for ages. It wasn’t really raining. And so I got a text from John, saying that they really would like to take Archie out, the rain wasn’t as bad as anticipated. And they really miss taking him out on Wednesdays…

And so we headed back home, J&A had come to the Links, hoping to see us there. We both sent our live locations, and when Archie saw them away along the pavement, he took off at speed towards them. Everybody was happy!

They went into town - Archie loves town. And he dragged them into his favourite shop with the big bowl of dog treats. Luckily, it was the shop that Amanda was heading to!

Not many photo opportunities today, but this passion fruit flower was irresistible.
