Wednesday: Runner Beans “Enorma”

Lots of heavy rain showers during the day and this evening.

Watched a couple of episodes of “Poldark”, read a few chapters of my book and had a very quiet day … MrD had a very busy day of deliveries and finished late afternoon :-))

Runner Beans are making lots of growth, lots of flowers which the bees are loving and it’s very early days at the moment BUT there are a few tiny beans, the torrential rain showers have helped but the south easterly winds have been ferocious over the weekend :-(

The solitary Courgette is growing nicely and there are a few more tiny buds waiting to bloom … hopefully the slugs aren’t out tonight!
