Dried flowers at Kristy’s place

We had an early morning child minding job today. Bryan and the big boys had to be at school at 7am for a Father’s Day function and Kristy had to leave home at 7 as she works away some days. We arrived on time and gave them a healthy breakfast, big plate of porridge and rye sourdough toast. I was pleased to see them eat something substantial in the morning. 

Then they mucked around for an hour before we had to go to school drop off. It is dress up day for book week and they both went in soccer clothes (they said their books were about soccer so fair call). At school we saw a Harry Potter and a Banana in Pyjamas. I hope the latter wasn’t  uncomfortable or cold. 

Mid morning I walked to the Library, menswear shop, Charity shop and postbox. 3 books in and 1 out today. I bought an evening jacket at the op shop to wear with my new dress which needed something as it is so plain. 

We are heading off for a few days next week and needed air tickets. Blimey it took 3 hours to work it out, one way went through easily enough but the return wouldn’t work. In the end we rang up and I think they have sorted it and booked. There must be an easier way, We could have.driven to the airport in that time. 

This afternoon it feels like spring, 17 degrees.
