Wound up in Wexford

Kelly's Deli

We had a planned power cut today.  Starting 0900, so we needed to be fairly early up, showered and breakfasted.  And since we had warning, sensible things like switching off the computers in a controlled fashion.  I just managed to get up my blip for the previous day.

Then W had an appointment for routine bloods at the surgery.

Once he was home from that we read for a while, before going to Rosslare Strand to see B & P, W's friends from way back.  We took rusks and some blondies (brownies, but with white chocolate).

We all went to Kelly's Deli for lunch.  There's a grape vine in the covered seating area.

After lunch we drove home via Drinagh Garden Centre.  We'd been before - bought some rather nice alpines the first time.  And W had been back recently, and found they'd given it a massive face lift.

It's a good job we just went to look, because "we don't particularly need anything" because despite not needing anything, we still managed to spend well over €100 on plants that jumped into our trolley!

By the time we got home, our power was back.

In the evening I went to band practice - first session of the new season.  I was the only flautist to turn up, so I had to work quite hard!
