Toad

This morning Cameraman and I did some work on the planter which I look after. It's in the extra. I'd emptied it a few weeks ago because all the planters were being refurbished by the council. I'd taken out all the plants and kept them at home but they need to go back so that they can settle in while the weather is still warm. There are about 10 planters in all and each has been 'adopted' by someone in the neighborhood. Only two are these unusual double deckers. This one looks a bit sad at the moment but the plants will soon spread and flourish. 

Whilst digging around in the soil Cameraman found this toad.  Poor thing was just trying to have a snooze. There was a P6 class from the local school doing some outdoor education so we were able to show them Mr/s Toad. 

Back to some garden work at home. I had thought about going to Edinburgh today but honestly I'm happy to stay put. Restorative yoga tonight will be a good stretch.
