A touch of Asia

Harriet and George sent me this lovely picture from Shrewsbury,  looking radiant in traditional Asian attire as they celebrate the wedding of Adam, a doctor friend. A blend of cultures and friendships.

Adam and Harriet were part of a group of medical students who found themselves holed up in doctors' accommodation (and classed as a "household") in Boston, Lincolnshire during one of the COVID lockdowns. Although they now work in different parts of the country, Harriet and "The Boston Boys" remain good friends.

It’s been a very mild September day here in North Wales. With the summer hanging baskets looking a little past their best, I headed to the garden centre at Tweedmill in Trefnant to pick up some new plants and compost. 

Three hanging baskets have now been replanted with violas. One more to go!
