Reconnaissance trip

Today me and 3 others went to Chapel St Leonards on the Lincolnshire coast to have a look at what is there. We have a cottage booked at the end of October for a week and wanted to check the place out. We managed to have a look in the windows of the cottage and it looks wonderful, the best bit though is the back garden path leads to the beach. Yes the beach in the blip. Now really looking forward to it.

Chapel St Leonards is a busy seasonal English seaside town with lots of cheapy shops and fish and chip shops. It should still be quite busy when we go, but the main thing will be the beach and sewing - not at the same time!

Great day out with friends, lots of tea, chips and laughter even managed a paddle in the sea!
