Casinoberries?

I'm unsure what these are (hence the made-up name) but they clearly go through a dramatic change when they ripen.

A neighbouring bush had pink ones.

Any suggestions? Google is useless at this sort of thing.

Busy day today. Left before the boys emerged out of bed (that's not difficult) but they did find the various notes of instructions left around. Only three of the team in this morning, beavering away at the buglist. Got out for a good sunny lunchtime walk which is when I took this.

I had intended to put a more flexible lens on today but, having blown off some fluff off the sensor this morning, I was reluctant to change lens again. Naturally, lots of blue butterflies settled around me, only to be near invisible in the shots.
