The Edge of the Wold

By gladders

Bright-eyed

Here is Gus eagerly waiting for Wifie to climb the stone steps up to the Woof Walk. This is part of his nightly routine, and where he gets more excited every time he does it. The game is to chase Wifie as she weaves between the line of trees, and as she laughs, he barks exuberantly.

His followers here always say how he has changed from the timid animal that he was eight months ago. And it's true, it's not just his confidence that has grown, but his physical fitness too. His teeth that were covered in tartar are now white, and his inflamed gums look normal now. And look at the shiny black nose. One thing that hasn't changed is his gentle nature, he doesn't have an ounce of aggression in him. Happy days.
